Periyar Tiger Reserve, nestled in the Western Ghats of Kerala, India, is a pristine sanctuary renowned for its dense forests, diverse wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes. The Houseboats
Kerala Houseboats, traditionally known as "Kettuvallam", are both a treat to the eyes as well as engineering and design marvel. they come in different sizes starting from a small one room option to large 8 room ones. The boats house all amenities like kitchen, bathroom etc. We had a one night stay on a houseboat at Vembanad lake and we came across many houseboats of different shapes and sizes. I had the chance to photograph a few while on the waters of the lake. Sharing the same with you here.
