For My Teachers

Updated: Jun 7, 2024

“Education is a must.” This phrase always puzzled me. Many successful people don't have formal degrees, so I questioned the importance of education—until last year. Understanding why education matters isn't something you can be told; it's something you must experience firsthand.

I struggled to study on my own, never finding the interest. Modern technology distracted me, keeping me from observing my surroundings and asking questions. Yet, education remained a crucial part of my life. I hated school until 1st grade, but when I moved back to Pune in 2nd grade, everything changed. New teachers made learning enjoyable and sparked my curiosity.

At RIMS Undri International, Pune, I was fortunate to have amazing teachers. Seema Ma’am made math and science fun, igniting my hunger for knowledge. Juhi Ma’am introduced me to the wonders of science in 6th grade. Vinaya Ma’am’s enthusiasm for Social Studies was contagious, and Harshada Ma’am, my favorite class teacher, made Social Studies fascinating. Ripa Ma’am’s English lessons in 6th grade set a strong foundation for my learning journey. Lastly, Reeta Ma’am transformed my fear of Sanskrit into my strength in 10th grade.

Lockdown during 7th grade disrupted my studies, but one teacher kept my interest in science alive. These dedicated teachers gave me a solid start in my educational journey. Their efforts and love profoundly impacted me, and I am deeply grateful.

In 8th grade, I moved to Uran and joined KV NAD Karanja, marking a new chapter in my life. Lockdown affected my studies, and my grades suffered in 8th grade. However, my teachers in 9th grade helped me get back on track. Muniraj Sir, our class teacher from 8th to 10th, taught Social Studies with great passion. Rohit Sir, our chemistry teacher, was dedicated to helping us understand complex concepts. Prashant Sir made biology intriguing, while Mandeep Sir, our physics teacher and ATL (Atal Tinkering Lab) in-charge, encouraged innovation. Trushna Ma’am, our math teacher, pushed us to excel, and Mukesh Sir, our English teacher, was always supportive. Swati Ma’am, our caring Sanskrit teacher, guided us with a parental touch.

In 10th grade, we had the same loving teachers, except for a new science teacher, Sakshi Ma’am, who inspired me to compete in major events. When Sakshi Ma’am and Trushna Ma’am were transferred, Yogita Ma’am and Supriya Ma’am stepped in. Yogita Ma’am covered our math lessons with extraordinary effort making a month’s gap negligible , while Supriya Ma’am helped me improve my science scores after a gap of 3 months.

Thanks to the dedication and passion of these incredible teachers, I achieved 94.2% in my board exams. They added immense value to my life, not just academically, but also personally. These teachers pushed me to excel, even when I lacked motivation. They opened my eyes to new perspectives and taught me invaluable lessons.

I am profoundly grateful to all my wonderful teachers for their unwavering support and guidance. Their impact on my life is beyond words. All I can say is thank you—from the bottom of my heart.
